YouTube and Omnisio Join Forces

YouTube will add new features that allow users to edit video online. Video Annotations, which allow you to insert comments and information into the video itself, are just one example of how the company is going to expand what you can do with your videos on the site. The new technology comes with the purchase of Omnisio, a small California-based start-up that’s focused on making online video more useful and collaborative.

 

Ominso started in March this year and has been acquired by Google for 15 million dollar. An interactive demo movie put the company on the chart. The company developed a rich feature set to edit videos.
