Firefox 3 Released on June 17th
Mozilla announced that Firefox 3 will be released on June 17th. The company will attempt to break the record of the most downloaded items in 24 hours.
Next to a new feature set the browser will focus on improved stability, a higher rendering speed that is established by the new Gecko engine, more efficient memory use and tweaked security features.
Firefox 2 was released in October 2006. The last release candidate was published this week.
