Beautiful tab switching for Firefox 3
It is likely that Firefox 3 will have a usefully-improved tab preview feature that will show actual thumbnails of the currently opened tabs. The feature is currently available as an experimental extension
developed by Dão Gottwald.

A button that replaces the List all tabs button in the tab bar in Firefox 2 opens up a
thumbnail gallery of the tabs in a stylish black window. Тhe active tab is
recognized by the slightly bigger size. Tabs can be quickly filtered out by entering a few letters from the tab
title. When switching tabs with the Ctrl + Tab (Cmd + Tab for Mac) a black
bar across the whole screen with thumbnails of the closest tabs with
the site’s favicon overlays for easier identification.

The selected tab is
shown slightly to the left in order the most next tabs to be seen at a time.
Firefox 3 Beta 1 is expected within the next couple of weeks.
