Missing Fireworks

After I upgraded to Macromedia Studio 8/Adobe CS3 and have both Dreamweaver 8/CS3 and Fireworks 8/CS3, when trying to create a CSS Image Gallery, I get the following error:

"Must have Fireworks 3 to use, please download your free copy at ..."

What is going on I do have Fireworks 8/CS3 now?

When you upgrade from MX04 to Studio 8 or to CS3 some of the DW settings carry over. DW still thinks that Fireworks MX is the default app for editing images. Since you upgraded that is no longer the case. Do the following:

1. Go To DW Preferences
2. Click File Types/Editors Option
3. For all image extensions .png,.gif,jpg map DW to your Fireworks 8 application using the "browse" button
4. After you've done that click "make primary"
5. Close DW
6. Restart
