Microsoft is already working on Internet Explorer 8
With Internet Explorer 7 just around the corner an architect of Microsoft claimed that the company is already working on Internet Explorer 8. Enhanced security, privacy and compatibility are the main focus areas for the development team of Internet Explorer 8.
Possibly the architect was referring to a better adaptation of the W3C standards when he spoke about improving compatibility. Internet explorer 8 might even support JavaScript 2.0, which will be supported by the next version of Firefox.
