Windows Genuine Advantage removal tool released

Guillame Kaddoch, a French security analyst and software developer has created a software program that removes the notifications of the Windows Genuine advantage tool.

The WGA-tool is calling home and connects to Microsoft's servers every time Windows has restarted. If the user has an illegal copy of Microsoft Windows the user gets a notification from the tool.

The controversy about the tool was caused by the endangerment of security and private issues.
