Dreamweaver MX drop down menus: IE6.0 and Firefox

I am also needing an answer to this questin. I have been working for days trying to do this.  I get something sort of working and then it does not work in Firefox.  Is their a freeware Dreamweaver MX extension program that one has- or a snippet? Any information would be greatly appreciated.  I have been trying to use some script code from dynamicdrive.com ---anylink veritical menu and anylink horizontal menu- but not being very html and javascript literate, I am somehow not implementing correctly.  I did get it to work somewhat in IE6.0 but not in firefox.  I would like something a little bit easier.. without having to pay an arm and a leg. 

If this is not possible, what is the best menu software extension for a reasonable price ( that looks awesome) ?  Thank you!

Couldn't find so far a dropdown menu which works in both IE.6 and FF. Tried a few with javascript, tried a few which uses css only, almost got it to work, but either it won't support both browsers or it will have other problems. I have tried SO many methods, me head hurts. I feel like i'm trying to reinvent the wheel here, and i'm sure it can't be that hard..
