The efficiency of this book is tremendous. If you want to quickly learn how to use SQL statements to speak to your database then this book you should buy.

Although he donates 7 of the 208 pages to an introduction of database terms and a general overview of the SQL language, the book does not, by any means, go into extraneous detail regarding databases, its origin, nor the ins and outs of building relational databases; rather, it does exactly what its title expresses. It will serve as a quick but comprehensive rundown and a decent pocket (or desktop) reference of the SQL language

It is quick and easy and may very well be the only book you need on SQL. Short and concise, Ben Forta breaks down each SQL statement in 1-3 pages and also provides examples for each.
