I have a form field defined as text in MySQL. The insertion works fine but when I want to display the contents of that field on my browser, I only get 9 characters at a time and also they are garbage (e.g. [B@63a1ae )

When I view that field within MySQL, I can see the right data though.

I am using Ultradev 4.0 and JSP, JDBC, Tomcat and MySQL.
Any ideas?
