I am using UD & have created a user interface in Fireworks 4 that takes up the left side & the top of the page. I have brought the page into DW and tried to create a template. After finally getting a template to work I tried to created some text on the right side of the page where I will put all the information. The problem I am having is that as soon as I hit the enter button it creates huge white gaps in the left navigation bar. Is there anything I can do to lock them so they will not move? What am I doing wrong? Thanks
Mike

Hi Hemlock,
When you created your template, did you lock the items you want to lock ?
Let me rephrase that, did you make the right section a editable zone while leaving the rest locked ?
What might help you, is to add the text you want in the editable area in a page based on the template and leave the entire area in the template itself empty.
What could also be a problem is a table, you press enter and the page gets longer, making your left table column also longer, try leaving a table cell that scales along with the table size, instead of having the whole column stretch and mess up the navigation like you are experiencing.
