Hi,
I know the problem <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
Out of the blue i happens and
out of the blue it goes away <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>(
It happens to me too, every second full moon.
(and I'm not kidding here) ...
Personally I about everything there is, I think, from user rights to fault in the string connection.
I checked the MM site, I checked the user groups and I checked the MS support site.
My advice :
Usually it IS the user right problem, it's just not my solution <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q174/9/43.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0
www.macromedia.com/support/ultradev/ts/documents/common_server_errors.htm
or check the user groups through google
groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&group=macromedia.ultradev
I learned a lot 'bout asp, though <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Pps : on my development machine, I just reboot, sometimes it helps.
Ppps : oh yeah, check the connection string in the folder connections, or delete the dsn and re-apply it, sometimes it help.
