I followed the steps for creating a log in page using the Log In User Server behavior. It does not work. When I enter a username and password to test I get a page error. I assume <%MM_LoginAction%> is not suppsed to be the form action because that is in the URL of the page when I hit submit. But what is? Please help.Replies

Hi,
When you use the MM login function in Ultradev, the appropriate form-action is indeed the MM-action stuff. Can't see anything wrong 'bout that. However maybe you did something else wrong ?
Try this very nice tutorial :
www.sunnahproductions.com/udnewbie/tutorials/level2/index.asp
If you prefer your training from the Source <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> , try this official tutorial :
www.macromedia.com/support/ultradev/building.html
They got a nice section going ...
*Sigh*, if only it would have been there when I needed it <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
or you could always use the helpfiles that come with UD (under F1)
greetz and good luck,
Jezter

Those two tutorials are the same as the tutorial that comes with UD. I followed it step for step. The script was inserted into the page but when you click submit I get a page error. Every log in page I run across has an asp page as its form action. Even the tutorial link you gave me uses asp in its form action. I searched MM_LoginAction to see if anyone else was using the UD server behavior and the pages I came across have the same error I do.
