I would like ASP+ components

I would really like to see UD5 have ASP + components added to it. I mean come on, the guy who made ASP express even has ASP + on that program. Come on Macromedia, Im a stock holder.Replies

from the little that I understand, a new server model should relatively easy to implement (for someone who know the parts that go into it).
the UI part shouldn't be that hard (just like ASP), throw some translators out there for the server controls, and that should be about that....
after that, the code can have pretty much the same format as regular ASP (at least for the initial release, inline code is something that dotNet is trying to move away from).
but at least the people would have something to work with and start to experiment with the new technology...
The reason I think that macromedia should take the time and money to try to get this out, is because UD users are gonna be at a disadvantage when the final release comes and the rest of the world has already been using dotNet for a while. Who's gonna get picked first for a dotnet job:
the UD guy who's been using it for 2 weeks,
or the notepad guy who's been messing with it for months.
well, all we can do is wait, and use notepad (well, editplus if it matters to ya)...
