Hi.

Im wondering if any of you are having the same problem as i am right now.

If i put up a Table width="100%" and set page margins to "0" the table wont show up as 100%, but instead there are missing about 8-10 Pix. on the right side.

If it dossent show, then try going back and forth using the browsers buttoms.

This has never been a problem I've seen ???

Try hitting the refresh buttom, then it falls into place!

When I look at it, there's nothing wrong with it. I can see whole table.

IE 5.5

Yes, but it dossent fill 100%, more like 98% if you go to the url and then go to another page, hit the browser back buttom, then youll see that there are about 8-10 Pix clear space between the table and the scrool bar. Note only when using IE 5.5 or 6.0.
I have noticed that this happends on a lot of pages all over the web, but what are we to do to prevent this without doing a screen reselution detection and redirecting to appropriate page.......I only want one page doing every resolution from 800x600 up

I was reading a Dreamweaver topic last night.. yes I have a life... and there was a warning on page margins and the different ways IE and Netscape handle the issue. I am not sure if this the same issue or if you are aware of the suggestion made in the text, but the book suggests setting all four page margins settings to 0. One set of page margins is for IE the other two is for Netscape. I hope this has been helpful.

Hi Bo,
I saw the problem you are talking about and have found a simple solution. I added the following additional margin setting in code view to your existing code: rightmargin="0"
The Properties Page in Dreamweaver 4 only allows for the setting of the left and top margins, so I had to hand code the right margin. After adding the rightmargin="0" your table stayed at 100% even when going back and forth from other pages. I hope this is helpful to you.
*****As an aside, Bo, I see that you are from Denmark! My husband works for Denmark-based Grundfos Pumps Corporation (headquartered in Bjerringbro, Denmark). He is the Director of Information Technology for their North and Central American operations. We live in California, USA. I am looking forward to accompanying my husband on his next business trip to Denmark. I have heard such wonderful things about your country!
With warm regards,
Jean-Marie

Hello,
<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> Thanks, Bo, and I'll be sure to bring warm clothes as 15 degrees Celsius sounds VERY cold! It's around 95 degrees Fahrenheit on a daily basis in Central California right now! Also, I am glad that the right margin tip seemed to do the trick for you.
Regards,
Jean-Marie
