I can't seem to get UD4 to make the correct string to show-live-data

when UD4 wants to make a new database connection, it looks at ide.cfm which is in the CFIDE folder which is in the server root. The url that my UD4 is building looks for the ide.cfm page in my site root(my site root is 'test':

http:192.168.1.3/test/CFIDE/main/ide.cfm?CFSRV=IDE&Action=DBFuncs

instead of

http:192.168.1.3/CFIDE/main/ide.cfm?CFSRV=IDE&Action=DBFuncs

why is UD4 putting the name of my site folder ('test/') in the URL that it builds to make database connections?

You should check your site settings. There is a site URL in there.
