Since a few days we've got some serious issues with the Smart Image Processor extension. The extension worked fine for years but now it suddenly stopped working.

We always set the .component to "Auto" but for some reason whenever we try to upload and shrink an image the server gets in a loop until the asp script generates a script time-out.

If we set .component to "AspJpeg" all seems to go fine and no errors are generated but the shrinked image isn't being saved to the disk, no errors are given.

If we try to shrink the image without the dreamweaver extension and call the Persists AspJpeg directly all goes fine.

It seems to me that there is some miscommunication between the SIP extension and the Persists AspJpeg object.

All programs are up to date with the latest version, the server is a Windows 2008 server.

First you have to figure out when it stopped working, did you update something on your server or was the AspJpeg component updated, that would help in finding the cause and getting a fix for the problem.
