I never knew life could be so complicated, but I am all searched out. What I have is a db with a table with 10 fields, what I want to do is put a small search bar on the page with a text field and a dropdown list where you can select the particular field to search in (example: text = used, then select the field to search in from a list of 3) I am having trouble passing the variables to the result page I cannot seem to workout how the variable of the selected field is passed and then how to run the query string to get results listed. I am using Dreamweaver, PHP and MYSQL. Any help would be greatly appreciated, if any one can point me in the right direction. Replies

It could give you some clues how to work it out your issues. Also, the internet is full with articles and tutorial on this subject.
