I never knew life could be so complicated, but I am all searched out. What I have is a db with a table with 10 fields, what I want to do is put a small search bar on the page with a text field and a dropdown list where you can select the particular field to search in (example: text = used, then select the field to search in from a list of 3) I am having trouble passing the variables to the result page I cannot seem to workout how the variable of the selected field is passed and then how to run the query string to get results listed. I am using Dreamweaver, PHP and MYSQL. Any help would be greatly appreciated, if any one can point me in the right direction.
