Charon cart - Where to start?

Where to start?I have the database, then I build the pages accordingly.
I can't seem to get going, I have added the <!--#include file="inc_CharonCart.asp" --> to all my pages.
Do I need to add all of the cart options? or just the ProductID?
Then I create a Recordset with my products and create links to the checkout page or what?
