No tables showing in connection

Does anyone knows how to correct the problem of tables from database not showing?I am trying to create a VB.NET application with Dreamweaver CS3 and when connecting to the database I get a successfully connection but the tables are not showing.
And when I connect using an ASP application the tables are showing. This has been very frustrating, I have try to look everywhere for a solution and cannot find any.
My database is in a MSSQL 2005 database.
