I have tried everything so please any help...?!I have just upgraded to Dreamweaver CS3 on Mac OSX.5 on a new iMac, having had MX2004 on 10.4 on an old G4 but I am now unable to connect via ftp to any of my websites. I can connect via other ftp software, I can connect using my ethernet router using my old MAC. I have treble checked all the settings and they are the same on the 2 machines so is this is an issue with CS3 and the iMAC? I have tried all variations in the 'preferences' tickboxes for ftp connection.
Any help would be great, thanks

Hi
my core duo macbook runs dw 9 using leopard
the ftp works fine on that, although it always needs to be passive mode.
I did a quick search on dreamweaver cs3 imac ftp problem, google found nealry 70k hits, the top being . . .
kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb402780
another hit suggested checking your ftp timeout as it may be set to a default of 4 seconds, upping that to around 30 or 40 may help
hope that helps
