Please please help!!!!

Just moved from windows XP to windows Vista Home Premium Edition.

Basically I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and ASP VBScript to do some basic database driven pages. Since moving to Vista, every time I try to view a page which connects to my MS Access database I get this error:

error '80004005'
/2008mailshot/database-browse.asp, line 8

I am totally perplexed by all of the settings in IIS Ver 6. I know that there are 101 reasons for a '80004005' error but hope someone has the answers. I've changed very little of Vista settings as its a new PC.

All I want to do is view simple .asp files from Dreamweaver (right click and 'preview in browser') but it seems Microsoft can't help but make things more complicated than it needs to be.

Any help on configuring IIS so that I can view my dynamic pages would be much appreciated. I know this works fine on XP so certain its an IIS setup problem.

Oh... and I have installed the ASP part of IIS via Vista's 'Turn Windows Features on or off' option.

Cheers in advance.
Steve

Make sure the db and the folder that contains your db has the proper read - write permissions.
