I've not been using any extensions for a while now (I've just been hard coding everything), but I went to try something out today and I'm getting the dreaded '405 Method Not Allowed' error when I try and set up a database connection using DW's GUI.

I remember this same error causing me no end of grief way back in the days of DWMX. I ended up completely wiping my hard drive and reinstalling everything again to get DW working properly as nothing suggested anywhere made any difference.

I really don't want to have to do that again. Someone out there must know what's causing it or how to fix it?

I'm running DW8 on OS X 10.4.11.
