The holy grail of .asp. Can someone please help me refresh data on a page without performing a page refresh? I am looking for a result similar to a streaming stock quote. When the data in the database changes I want to display the new data. The only requirement is that it work in Firefox. maybe java and .asp or ajax and .asp?

Any tricks or suggestions would be helpful. If someone out there is an AJAX or a java guru you could make a lot of cash developing a DW plugin to do this. I just need to perform a requery every 30 seconds and display the new data without refreshing the whole page.

a quick way would be to have a frameset and then just refresh the frame that holds the data you want.

This would refresh the page but only the part that holds the data?
