Good morning,

After upgrading to DW CS3, I notice that my Server Behaviors palette was not showing my "Pure ASP Upload 3" behavior, "Insert Record" or "Update Record" behaviors anymore. I re-installed DW8 because I encountered too many problems with CS3. Now I get the following error, in DW8 and CS3, the first time I save a file after editing:

-------------------------------------
The following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
Unable to open script file "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\shared\DMXzone\Scripts\dmxFuncLib.js" (error 3).
-------------------------------------

I have checked my entire Program Files directory, and there are no DMXzone folders or files to be found. I have uninstalled and re-installed all my DMX Zone extensions three times, and I'm probably getting close to my installation limit now. Why does this file fail to install? Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your help,
Cathy W.

I also have exactly the same error. This problem occured when I upgraded to Advanced HTML Editor 2.07. I uninstalled and re-installed several times. Deleted the Winfilecache. Tried to rei-install 2.05. Thjis produced a blank registration screen when you re-start Dreamweaver. Uninstalled 2.05 and re-installed 2.07. This produces the error asgain. This is CS3 on Vista Business.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Further investigation shows the the folder:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\shared\DMXzone\Scripts\dmxFuncLib.js

Does not exist.

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\shared

Exists, but the "shared" folder does not contain a folder called DMXzone.

What's going on here George?

So I finally discovered <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>. But the confusing thing is the old Icon is not removed. Finally figured it out and we are now good.

Thanks for you help.

Hi there. Is there a resolution to this? Since updating to the latest versions of some of my extensions, I too am getting this javascript error when I save a file
Unable to open script file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\shared\DMXzone\Scripts\dmxFuncLib.js" (error 3).

As observed by other posters, there is no DMXzone folder as required by the path in the error message. I have uninstalled/reinstalled V2.09 of the Advanced HTML Editor to no avail. Also the editor does not appear in the DMX Zone menu.

Can we have some help please.
