Is it possible to set SmartMailor to work with an external SMTP server?

Our hosting company won't allow "Bulk" emails, one of our sites sends Jobs by Email .. "Bulk" - i've read somewhere that it is possible to set CDOSYS to work with external SMTP servers - is this possible with Smartmailor???
