Hi all,

I am in need of some help, I have uploaded my website to a web server but it keeps coming up with the error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

I have developed the website in Dreamweaver 8 and in ASP.

I am new to uploading things onto a webserver, I have only ever tested on a local testing server (IIS) for uni projects. I was wondering if anyone can help me correct this problem.

The site works fine on IIS, so is becoming quite frustrating

Hi Ben,
Which database you are using?
If you use MS Access you have to insure that your database has been uploaded to the right directory on your hosting server.
some of the hosting companies are created spicial directory for database so you have to upload your databse to the same dir. then you need to create the DSN on hosting server and you have to name it as you named on your localhost

try and it will work
