Hi! Can anyone tell how to update the pure php upload 2.1 for 2.2? Do we have to buy again the extension?? that doens't make sence! plz help

Hi Andre,

As far as I know there is no version 2.2 for Pure PHP Upload (There is such version only for Pure ASP Upload - 2.2.2).
According my information the latest version for Pure PHP File Upload is 2.1.4.

However, there are the steps for updating the extension.
1. Go to the official page of the extension at DMXzone.com and download the latest version.
(To do that, you have to login into DMXzone.com with the account through which you have purchased the extension)
2. Uninstall your version of the extension from Extension Manager
3. Install the downloaded version. Then Restart Dreamweaver and follow the installation wizard.
4. Restart Dreamweaver.

hum i don't understand then....i am using version 2.1.4 but it gives me a javascript error when i try to run it in DWCS3! Someone said to update the extension and it would solve the problem but i guess that has nothing to do with it then. So can you tell me please what is this problem and how do i solve it?

Try to delete Dreamweaver cache file.

For Dreamweaver CS3 try the following path: C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration

The file have a name like <b>WinFileCache-7A9586CB.dat</b>
(The following string could be different for your computer <b>7A9586CB</b>.

NOTE: These folders are normally hidden. Therefore, you may have to use <b>Explorer &gt; Tools &gt; Folder Options</b> to unhide them.

If this does not help you try to uninstall the extension from Extension Manager and then install it again.

Sorry...my mistake! I was using the version 2.1.2!

But now....i've installed the correct version (2.1.4) but it doesn't show on server behaviours ;( what am i doing wrong? it says that the installation is sucessfull...

Did you uninstall your version from Extension Manager before installing the new one?
