Hi,I am a newbie and have just started to learn how to use dreamweaver 8 on my Mac. I have a problem concerning images that are linked. They get a frame around them with the current link color specified in the CSS of the template i am using. If I change the link color in the CSS to none the pictures that have links get a frame in the default blue link color. If I change the link color to the same as the background color the frame around my images disappears, but then all the text links disappear as well <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>
<b>How do I get rid of the ugly frame around all my pictures that have links to either other pages or larger versions of themselves? </b>
I just want to have the original images without any frame around them.
Please help!

just place: border="0" into your image src code, should remove any borders even when it's given a link.

Thanx a million, man. That worked. How stupid of me not to realize it must be a simple solution like that!

I'm a bit of a newbie too, and it took me a while to realise that border="0" had the same effect mate!!!
We all have to start somewhere and its all a learning process from there on in.
Good that there is so much advice here and on other DW forums otherwise we would all be banging our heads off the same brick wall!!!.
Only a biker understands why a dog sticks its head out of a car window!!.
