hi all,i run a fence business and was trying to get an online quote on my site so people can select the height of the fence they want, including how many meters, and type (timber or colourbond). Ideally when they select this it will give them a job cost.
i'm having trouble. can anyone help please?
thankyou in advance

HI
I think you will have to be more specific about how you want to set about this - so that people know how to help <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
are you using Dreamweaver or hand coding, are you using php, mysql etc
What you want to do doesn't sound difficult

As Alan mentioned a bit more detail would be good to receive a better response. However, if I'm not mistaken, you could make a list of your various types of fences by lumber and styles + the cost of installation. I guess that would be by Square Feet or meter. Having a list of all your prices you could make a little form with various menu options that would add your prices according to selection and provide an estimate. The first step though, is to have your prices and selections clear. The back end could be anything from HTML, javascript, ASP, PHP, SQL....all depends on what you have at hand.
Hope it helps,
