I am having a bit of a difficult problem. I am teaching a class using dreamweaver and all my students (20) have gotten hosting from a really good provider. When I have my students connect to their sites using dreamweaver, after 8 connections, no more can connect.

Is it possible that the hosting company has a limited number of connections allowed for my schools IP? Or for all IPs for that matter? We are in contact with them, but this is pretty hairy.

They have said this:
Limit every FTP client to 1 simultaneous connection and you will be fine (will have 20 clients connected).

But will this work with Dreamweaver? Can I control the simultaneous connections setting? Would that matter?

Is it possible that this is a problem with our local settings at the school? Although, I mean we can connect to the internet using the computers, even upload using filemanagers cpanel.
