looking different in different browsers

HiCan someone tell me why my webgage looks correct in Internet Explorer but is incorrectly showing wrong in Safari and Firefox?

in different browsers, there might be different views.. so it is better to check the browser of user and then show the appropriate page for that browser, this can be done with javascript

I also found that I needed to treat the pictures as block display so it doesnt treat it like a character with acenders and decenders. That seemed to work for the images having gaps between them in different browsers.
