I have this setup on my counter strike clans website:
www.zomg-clan.com/news.php

I don't think it matters to much where it goes tbh, bots will check the whole page, so spam bots will check and get sucked in, any search engine bots will be allowed to go on with their business as it only redirects email harvesting bots, as oyur aware search engine bots server a different purpose all together, thus not being affected.

Thanks. That's what I thought but it doesn't hurt to check.

In the past 2 weeks, I've gotten spam down to less than 100 per day (vs about 400) on the 5 websites I monitor. Mostly with coding email addresses and making sure that replies have a subject.

I'll use this script and see if I can narrow it even more.

might be worth adding a question that has to be answered before any post/mail/reply can be made, similar to that of forums signups.

Unfortunately that is beyond my skill, sorry.
