Please can some one answer a question for me?

im using DW8 and i have a local testing server set up on my PC, i know that DW auto updates liks in files when they are moved etc but is this only for html? i am currently doing some PHP work and i have been given a script which when i try and link to a file within the directory from outside the directory i am getting an access denied error.

i am using the includes() function to try and grab the files but its not working.

if i opened one of the already existing pages within the directory and save it outside of the directory will DW update the links to the includes() files or will this not work??
