i am new on this forum and new in php develope.

I need to upload on my server jpeg images reducing the kb size.

Can I use Smart Image Processor PHP 2 for do that?

Smart Image Processor PHP 2 provide PHP function for manipulate image from my .php scripts? ...or can be used only with dreamweaver?

I need this info before to buy the extension...

seeing as it is a dreamweaver extension it can only be used in dreamweaver. the desc of the item clearly shows what it can do and yes it does reduce images sizes.

Smart Image Processor will allow you to resize your uploaded files in addition to other cool features. You need Pure PHP Upload to use it, and yes it's for Dreamweaver. It uses some external "include files" to make things happen. BE SURE you have write permissions or can create a virtual directory leading to a folder with write permissions. If you use Dreamweaver...Buy The Extensions. Hi,
I have pure php upload and smart image processor 2 and i have also downloaded the updates but i am having trouble with the smart image processor, i have created a site thats works great, i then exsported the database as sql and reimported it into my sites database and change the name on the connection string to work with my database, it did not work at first but then i delited the recordset and php upload and image processsor and when i reinstalled them everything works apart from my images are not resized


Can anyone help please

p.s i am using dreamweaver cs3

ps2 i have ticked the box saying resize and chosen the width 208 by 150 also chosen the images file and set permisions on this file too, there is no errer message just a white screen and page says done.

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 on OSX Snow Leopard with Firefox 4 and I seem to have a similar problem with Smart Image Processor PHP2 not correctly resizing images. I can get other features to work, but when setting image resize perameters, I get no error, but the uploaded image is the original size. Is this a bug? Any information / experience with this "issue" would be greatly appreciated.
