ok this problem is only happening on one of the sites that I have configured. This site is set to point to my htdocs folder on my local machine, with no remote connection.

The problem is that when I modify a file and I try to save it. The file saves fine, but for some reason dreamweaver does not mark it as saved because the * is still by the file and the file remains open. and when I try to close the file it gives me the prompt talking about the file is modified do i want to save before closing. If I choose YES, the file saves but it will not close. It remains open and the * is still by the file name. If I choose NO then the file closes just fine.

this is a very weird problem that I cant figure out. Only on this one site do I have this problem, and this site is on my local machine.
anyone have any thoughts on this??

nevermind seems to be fixed now. i installed the dreamweaver update and also recreated the site and it seems to be ok now
