While we patiently await the word from DMXzone about the compatibility of their extensions with Dreamweaver CS3, I would invite any brave soul who's upgraded to CS3 already to share their experiences with the rest of us. What extensions are you using and what has been your experience with how they are working (or not) within Dreamweaver CS3?

So, all you early adopters out there - throw us a bone and tell us what you've found out so far...

I have CS3, So far, php upload 2, addon works ok. I had to fix incResize.php for issues that may have already existed, that still haven't been fixed. I haven't tried other modules yet, but I'll try to remember to report back once I do. The details for what I changed in incResize can be posted later. I am still putting ti through the ringer.

NOTE: I don't understand why these folks don't provide more updates and support. We PAY to use this ease of functionality.

Ok, so I have several days under the belt with Dreamweaver CS3 and the DMXzone.com extensions. So far I have had no problems at all with Pure ASP Upload 3, Smart Image Processor, Advanced Layer Popup, Smart Mailer (ASP), and Flash Album/Slideshow.

Advanced HTML Editor has a quirky behavior when you add it to the page but it works. After you add it to the page, you have to save your page, close it and then reopen it and then it seemed alright. I hear that are some problems with File Genie but have not had a chance to test that yet.

I am using CS3 and have not had any issues with the Zone extensions I have, I will say I have had no luck in getting any of my Interakt extensions to work at all, this surprises me since Adobe bought interakt a while back.

Yeah, it looks like the Interakt stuff is now bundled into the "Developer Toolbox" available for bargain price of $300 smackers.

Not sure if it's worth it. They don't offer a trial, demos of the components that make up the toolbox, or even a listing of the tools. In fact it's not prominently placed on the site either. Maybe they don't expect to sell much of it?

I have CS3 and the only one I can't get to work is the HTML editor. How did you get it to work? I don't even have it listed on my extensions when I open DCS3. Also, I agree that Interakt was crap. I purchase hundreds of dollars worth of extensions and a few of them didn't work at all. The KTML4 or whatever they call it is so touchy that one false move and it crashes. God only knows why Adobe purchase their company. The one place I do like very much is WebAssist but they don't sell a HTML editor as far as I know, so now I am stuck using DM 2004 until DMX Zone comes up with the HTML editor upgrade. Sucks

Also wanted to ask if anyone else has a problem removing the KTML4 editor from their extensions manager? Mine won't let me, which is very strange.

I have PurePHPUpload Bundle, which includes:

Pure PHP File Upload ver. 21.4
Pure PHP Upload Add-On Pack ver. 1.06

Dreamweaver CS3 Crashes both extensions giving Java errors.
