I'm new to Dreamweaver (using dw4) and I wonder if there is anyway to create a table with a border, without each cell in the table also having a border?Sorry for being so stupid, but I'd really appreciate any help!
TIA.
Gumbie.

two ways i can think of doing this.
the first would be to create a one row, one column table & apply a border to that & then insert a second table inside the first table without borders.
The second would be using style sheets.
if your a beginner you could try the first method whilst you experiment with CSS.

You are a complete star, Sir! I've done this and it works a treat (until I can figure out CSS!)
Thanks.
