Hi, new here so please go easy

I've been using dreamweaver for a while now to create very basic web pages. I've been creating an intranet at our works for the last couple of years but it's only been very simple pages put up with links to various pages, pictures etc.

We're starting to expand the information on the intranet and I've been playing around with the mailto setting and have now got a link on a page so that people can click on and the email box appears on screen with the name, subject and first line of the body filled out.

What I've noticed is that when the box appears, the default signature that's setup on everyone's account doesn't appear, I wanted this to appear as it makes the whole sending option look more professional, is there a way to get the email box to populate with the users default signature? We're using Exchange and Outlook as the server / client.

Also, is there a way to specify what the default font in the email that's to be sent will be? Our company has standardised on Tahoma as our font and noticed that the font was setting itself to Times Roman

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks Javier for the links, although they only help in as much as expanding a little on what I've already achieved.

What I have noticed is when I test the various URL's on the first link you gave me, I get different results. If I click on the very first link in that page my own Outlook Express email box appears with my signature attached but if I then click on the URL that says "Mail Window Test" near the bottom, my signature doesn't appear.

If I try them at work, even the first link doesn't work with Outlook and just a blank email appears (well apart from the pre-determined text).

No option anywhere to pre-format the text either.

Now this is strange, I've just tried the link (in the first URL by Javier) again at work and when I clicked on it my default signature appeard, which it didn't do earlier. If I then click on the link at the bottom, ie the Mail Window Test, which has text in the body, my signature doesn't appear

Somewhere, something strange is happening that I don't understand

Since the signature is in the body of an e-mail, defining the body in a mailto link overrides the signature. There is no way, that I'm aware of, to include the e-mail programs default signature to the mailto: body.
