I just came upon a tutorial to make a database mail form but it requres a PHP database. My question is if I have a mySQL database can I still use that tutorial or am i S.O.L. Anyone can respond so please let me know my options. Again, I have a mySQL or SQL database through godaddy, but the tutorial uses PHP. Can I still use the tutorial and substitute the databases. Thanks in advance,
Elliott

As far as I am aware there is no such thing as a PHP database... PHP is the code you are using to communicate with the database in order to make your web pages.
I don't use PHP myself, I use ASP but I think most PHP coders use a MySQL database so the answer to your question would be yes you can use MySQL through godaddy to do the tutorial.
