I am using Dreamweaver to manage a site of mine. I have it set so files are uploaded to the server on save. When i put a file to the server, dreamweaver does a compare to determine if the file has changed or not on the server. if the file has changed i get the "file has changed on the remote server since your last get or put operation. overwrite? dont overwrite?" prompt. In the past with many other sites of mine, this seamed to work correctly. i would get the prompt if the file on the server has TRULY been changed. however, with this new server i am on, i am getting this prompt not EVERY time i save, but quite often, whether the file on the server has been changed or not. I am certain that the file has not changed on the server because i do a compare. Has anyone run into this issue before? Why am i getting this prompt if the file didnt change on the server? is this a timezone difference problem or server time problem (assuming dw compares modified dates)?
