Here's my problem. I created a web layout in Photoshop CS2, created my gif and jpeg slices then saved the project for the web for implementation into Dreamweaver. Now I was told that once my project is open, switch to layout mode. Now here is where I get frustrated, to be safe, I go to create a layout table over one of the slices....no preblem. It shows me the width of the table, everything is good. Now i was told in a few tutorials that in order to store content in a table; text, images or animations I must create a layout cel as well. So I click on layout cell and I'm suppose to go to the top left of the table and a crosshair cursor is suppose to appear. However, some strange O with a X in the middle shows up on the screen. I assuming this means that I did something wrong. So that's where I'm stuck. I can make a layout table but not a layout cell. A little help please...... Elliott

hmmm, not sure what the problem is without actually seeing what you're seeing, maybe a screenshot?
An alternative is converting the slices that you made into layers instead, i find them alot easier to deal with than tables
Modify > Layout Mode > Convert Tables to Layers.
hope that helps
