Hello, my name is Elliott Giles. Im the league president of the Youngstown Flag Football Association. Im new to this forum but I've been working with Dreamweaver for some time to create my website www.yffa.net . What I would like to do for my flag football league is have a Free Agent page for guys who dont have a team and want to post their attributes online for other teams who may be looking for a player can contact them. So what I'm looking to do it to have the free agent fill out his info on the site, hit submit then BAM, it's on the site for everyone to see. I did a little research and found out that I have ASP scripting capabilities and that I have SQL database through godaddy. So can this be done? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance,
Elliott

Sounds to me like your wanting people or agents in this case to be able to place classifieds ads on your site, why not look at getting classified package, there are a few about...
Alternatively its a case of creating the forms to collect the data, creating your database to hold the data and dynamic pages to display the results...
Should be fun what ever you try to do...
DW8 | ASP | ACCESS

Charles thanks for responding. You are absolutely right, that is what I want to do. Have the guys fill in their info, hit submit then bam!!! Its on the website a couple of seconds later for everyone to see. The problem is that I dont know how to do it. I mentioned b4 that I have ASP scripting and a SQL database. Help me out.
Thanks,

a good resource to learn asp and SQL is www.w3schools.com
infact, its a pretty much a good place to start for anything. I wish i could give you more info than a link, but what you're trying to achieve is such a broad subject, there would be noway to explain it here on the forum. but like a said, that website is a great place to start.
