I'll try to type this so that it makes since
I have about 13,000 images on a server.
most of those i have stored locally, so what i need to do is get all 13k files on the server and transfer them to the local drive.
But that would take forever, so here's the question.

Can dreamweaver do a check and get only the files that are missing from the local disk. Rather than copying and overwriting images that are already on the disk.

look for synchronise - it does just what you want, you will need to set the menu so that it GETs newer files from remote
