SIP should work properly. Just check that u've done the correct thing and follow the instructions. If there's no error message then definitely there's something that you haven't done.

Why dont you try running the detect.asp page, that way you'll know whether or not the installed components (including ASP.NET) are working corrctly.
If the detect.asp page runs OK then you'll need to start checking other things like folder permissions etc...
Also have you turned off "show friendly https errors" in IE

I have run the detect .asp and it says all is ok, folder permissions have all been checked.
I eventually got an add page to work but update gave me severe problems, so I caved in and downloaded SIP2.
After fiddling around I now have the add page working perfectly and problems on the update page.
I get the following error
Image Processor: Error executing the action Load
System.ArgumentException: Parameter is not valid. at System.Drawing.Bitmap..ctor(String
filename) at DMXzone.ImageProcessor.ImageProcessor.Load(String filename) at
DMXzone.ImageProcessor.ImageProcessorWebService.Load(String filename)
I have tried all the usual things like restarting my machine, reinstalling extensions, deleting and reapplying extensions, deleting and reapplying update - no changes to the error message. I have read the article which suggests that there might be special characters in the name - none. Same article suggests that should try another component - not ASP.NET - but I don't have any others loaded and detect.asp said what I had would be fine?
Now poorer and still stuck. Help would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem, insert server behaviour works with SIP2, update dosen't work.
I ended up going back to PAU3 v4 and SIP2 v1
PAU3 v8 was suppose to correct this problem but it looks like it not for a few of us.
If you can get PAU3 v4 and SIP2 v1 give that a try, there was a bug in SIP in that it placed its code too far down the page, you have to cut and paste it up underneath the PAU code but apart from that its the only versions I can get to work.
Another problem which I have found is that PAU3 v5 onwards and SIP2 v2 (not sure which extension is causing the problem) now seem to require a level of security lower than medium in the ASP.NET setup which in my case stops it running.
My ISP refuses to change the ASP.NET security settings so I'm stuck with PAU3 v4 and SIP2 v1 until this issue is addressed.
