I recently set up hidden layers that pop up on mouseover through the behavior function. It works perfectly except that many of the layers will flicker wildly on mouseover. It's maddening because several of the links and associated layers work perfectly, with no flicker at all. Nearby link/layers, which were set up in exactly the same way, bounce all over the place. I can't see what causes some layers to behave as they should and some to jump out of control. Any suggestions? The site is www.marklaflamme.com/Crazy.htmlEdited by - LaFlamme on 18 Dec 2006 08:30:36

I looked at it with Firefox 1.5.0.8 PC and it all seemed quite stable.
I experienced a similar issue with text jumping around on a page when I moved the mouse pointer over a link, that was caused by a missing width on the outermost container division.
width:100%;
solved it.

Hi,
I have asimilar problem. I have the hot spot directly under the layer I want to show/hide. When I mouse over (the overlapping part) it flickers but when i mouse over the non overlapping part it is fine. I tried to set the outer most div tag to 100% width but no success.
