I can find articles all over the place but nothing that makes a massive amount of sense to me.

I am after a simple way of passing a session variable from ASP to ASP.NET

Failing that a way in which the ASP.NET page can request the variable posted by a form on an ASP page. I am not really a programmer tend to work with extensions and DMX and the little bits of code I understand... sooo an idiots guide would be massively appreciated.
