I have a site that uses two templates for all the pages. The first template is for all files located at the root. The second template is for all subdir files. Both templates include the same menu which is added as a PHP include. All the subdir files work fine. The files at the root won’t load in the images included in the menu, the paths seem to be all wrong.

I have tried a variaty of changes with the quotes using <?php include("@@('include.inc')@@"; ?> format etc.

Does anyone have an idea why Dreamweaver won’t update the paths or have a work around.

Thanks,
Dave

I had a problem where D8 left the file path at "templates/etc.". I manually change the path to /images in the template. Hope this is helpful. If it was or anyway do you know the answer to my template problem under the Roger Miles Question just below yours?

Thanks.

The problem can be resolved by using Library files for the common elements. I would like to have the same effect using includes. This way all I have to do is update and upload the include files not the whole site.

Does anyone have a work around for includes?

Thanks,
