My template files seem to be detached from their children. If I update one DW does not ask if I want to update the dependants it just saves to the dwt file. Also there are no tempaltes in the assets panel.

Does anyone know what's gone wrong?

I am cautious about 're-'attaching from the html files in case it corrupts the files as they are showing protected template code.

I have discovered what may be the problem. I detacheda child from its template and then tried to re-attach. D8 showed there were no templates! I have 3 in the templates folder. How do I get D8 to see its template folder (they are not shown in the assets folder either)?
