I've created a fixed size css centered layout and wish to put a small flash slideshow in an area over the background image of the header.

I'm trying to use absolute positioning which is fine for the vertical positioning of the added layer but when I pull out the browser window for the centered design the flash layer item acts like it's a set in a fixed position horizontally i.e it doesn't move on the horizontal along with rest of the layout.

Has any one got the solution

aha setting the parent div to "relative" seemed to do the trick.
