I D8 I keep getting a message 'you have made changes to a non editable region, your changes will be reverted on the next template update to this page' (or words to that effect). I have made changes to an editable region (allowed) in my derived page. If I save the page and close the file the changes are still there and if I do a test change to the template and update the page all is still OK in the edited region.

How do I get rid of this annoying message? What does it mean?

I've been getting the same error. I just installed the 8.0.2 update from the Adobe site and so far I haven't had the problem.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

I updated to 8.0.2 a little while ago, but still get the message. If I make text changes in design view there isn't any message. Frustrating!
